Southwest Florida is Outdoor Paradise No Matter What Time of Year

By Bill Hilts Jr. of The Buffalo News

It was a beautiful day in Southwest Florida, brought on in part by a cold front coming in from the north. Morning temperatures were in the 60s, a break from the 80s we had been experiencing. Unfortunately, the weather was accompanied by a wind that would become a bit of a problem for our morning fishing trip planned for the morning out of Pine Island. It was something we could live with.

For nearly a decade, we have been traveling to the beaches of Fort Myers and Lee County, and we have uncovered many outdoor gems that act as a magnet, pulling into the region year after year. At least, annual trips prior to Covid-19. This was our first trip since the pandemic began.
